Space Camp

The next generation of galaxy guardians is training to blast off from Northern California! We were proud to support science teacher Sima Gandhi and a group of her students from McKenney Intermediate School in Marysville, Calif. in going to Space Camp this summer. Ms. Gandhi and her students heard from a real astronaut, experienced a simulated water rescue and rode a zip line to get a sense of being in space. “Space Camp taught me to think ‘outside the box’ with practical examples that can be used realistically in the classroom,” Ms. Gandhi said.
