ESET Releases ESET Mail Security for IBM Lotus Domino Version 4.5

Apart from providing a lightweight and powerful protection for business-critical e-mail servers based on the IBM Lotus Domino, the upgraded product offers on-demand or scheduled scans of any content stored within the Domino database structure.

ESET is taking its mail security product portfolio to the next level, extending the role of ESET Mail Security for IBM Lotus Domino from a pure mail security solution to a solution with enhanced functionality for better support of the collaboration functionality of Domino, a role greatly appreciated by large enterprises. In addition, the new version provides real file type detection - enabling administrators to apply policies for specific types of content in e-mail attachments, even if their file extensions have been spoofed or altered.
