Johnson Controls Press Release:

Johnson Controls receives top Club Car supplier award
World's largest manufacturer of golf cars recognizes company for its partnership
MILWAUKEE, May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Controls, the global leader in lead-acid batteries, is being recognized by Club Car as a top supplier. The company received the award for Overall Operations Excellence 2012 in a ceremony earlier this month.  Johnson Controls supplies all the batteries to power Club Car's fleet of Precedent golf cars and Carryall utility vehicles.

"We are honored to receive this award from Club Car," said David DeGraaf, vice president and general manager Americas Original Equipment Group, Johnson Controls Power Solutions. "Through our close partnership, we've been able to support increasing demand, reduce complexity in manufacturing operations and collaborate on technology solutions to further grow an already strong brand and market position."

Johnson Controls began shipping deep-cycle lead-acid batteries to Club Car in 2010 from facilities in Florence, S.C. Johnson Controls was one of only four suppliers to be recognized by Club Car this year.
"Johnson Controls is a company of deep and impressive resources that is a valued partner in one of the most critical areas of our business," said Marc Dufour, president and CEO of Augusta, Ga.-based Club Car. "The value we provide our customers is enhanced by the Johnson Controls' relationship, which makes this recognition richly deserved."
