“Embarking on this Enterprise Resource Planning initiative is essential if we want to be a thriving health care system in the future health care environment,” said Don Jernigan, president/CEO of Adventist Health System, “and selecting our ERP vendor is an important step in this journey. When fully implemented, we will be more effective and efficient system-wide. But more importantly, this will allow us to put even more resources at the patient bedside so that we can do more for our patients, their families and the communities we serve.”
“To deliver increasingly efficient and effective care to a growing patient population, Adventist requires visibility across its organization as well as business tools that enable expanded business insight and collaboration,” said Marc Perlman, global vice president, Oracle Healthcare and Life Sciences. “Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications enable progressive and proactive healthcare systems, like Adventist Health System, to create an integrated ERP and EPM environment that deliver on these requirements and drive more accountable patient care and services.”
