Earlier today, the Teamsters withdrew their petition for an election at the FedEx Freight service center in South Newark, NJ.  The union would only take this step if it anticipated losing the election.
A union representation election was held on Wednesday, November 19, at the FedEx Freight service center in Charlotte, NC.   City and road drivers voted for union representation.  These results affect only the drivers at the Charlotte service center.  No other drivers at our more than 360 service centers are impacted by this vote.   It remains business as usual at FedEx Freight and our nationwide network won’t miss a beat. With respect to the Charlotte, NC election results, FedEx Freight is considering an appeal.
