UnitedHealth Group - NYUPN Clinically Integrated Network and UnitedHealthcare Collaborate to Enhance Care Quality, Launch Largest Shared Savings Initiative in Region to Reduce Costs

NEW YORK (Jun. 25, 2014) — 

NYUPN Clinically Integrated Network, LLC (NYUPN), is collaborating with UnitedHealthcare to provide enhanced, coordinated care to more than 70,000 New York residents, and help to reduce costs through the region’s largest shared savings initiative.

Under the new initiative, New York residents enrolled in UnitedHealthcare’s employer-sponsored health plans will have access to NYUPN’s coordinated care through its more than 1,700 clinical faculty and other health care professionals affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center and the University Physicians Network (UPN), with a focus on helping patients improve their health.
