How to Handle the Difficult Task of Firing Someone

Let’s face it. Sometimes you, as the hiring manager, may not make the wisest decisions when it comes to hiring. Whether your employee is condescending, argumentative, slow, not a culture fit, confrontational, or simply isn’t able to adequately execute the job, you may have to make a rather difficult decision ofletting them go.
First, don’t feel so bad – this is a common occurrence at any growing company. Just as you need to hire, you may need to fire. Pat yourself on the back for being able to recognize the need to effectuate some organizational change.
