FBI Seeking Placer County Serial Bank Robber
Armed and Dangerous Suspect Wanted for Series of Four Northern California Bank Robberies

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information to aid the identification and apprehension of an armed and dangerous bank robbery suspect tied to four robberies in Placer County. Upon entering some of the banks, suspect presented tellers with a demand note. The suspect is described as a 40-50 year-old Caucasian male who stands approximately 5’10” to 6’3” tall, who weighs approximately 230-250 pounds and has blue eyes and grey or blonde hair. On Thursday, August 13, 2015, a lone suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 8475 Auburn-Folsom Road in Granite Bay. The robber demanded money and, after obtaining an undisclosed amount, departed the bank. At the time of the robbery, the suspect wore a brown fishing-style hat and an orange “Home Depot” apron with brown clothing underneath.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2173 Sunset Boulevard in Rocklin. After making a demand and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect departed the bank. At the time of the robbery, the suspect wore a black ball cap with a white-lettered logo; a black zip-front jacket with white lettering on the left breast; baggy, khaki cargo pants; and neutral Converse-style sneakers. He also carried a black, messenger-bag style backpack slung across his body.
On Monday, February 29, 2016, the suspect entered the U.S. Bank located at 2220 Sunset Boulevard in Rocklin. After making a demand and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect departed the bank. At the time of the robbery, the suspect wore an orange or rust colored ball cap, a dark green windbreaker, and a darker shirt underneath the jacket. On Thursday, March 17, 2016, the suspect robbed the U.S. Bank located inside Safeway at 9045 Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard in Roseville. After making a demand and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect departed the bank. At the time of the robbery, the robber wore a baseball cap with a dark front panel and bill and white mesh sides and back; camouflage cargo pants; and a short-sleeved, white and gray 3/4 zip-shirt with a gray, long-sleeved shirt underneath.
The Placer county Sheriff’s Department, Rocklin Police Department, and Roseville Police Department are investigating the series of robberies.
