FBI Media Update: Armed Man Robs Bank of Albuquerque

A man used a handgun Saturday afternoon (March 19, 2016) to rob the Bank of Albuquerque branch located at 4700 Montgomery Blvd. NE. in Albuquerque.
The suspect is believed to have fled in an older four-door sedan with tinted windows that headed south through the parking lot of an adjacent shopping area.
The suspect is described as approximately 6’0” tall with a heavy build.
He had his face covered and wore sunglasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap with a light-colored bill, dark pants, and light-colored gloves.
Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank at approximately 12:57 p.m. and displayed a handgun.
The suspect demanded money from a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.
