FBI and Local Law Enforcement Seek the Public’s Assistance to Identify Unknown Female Chase Bank Robber

The FBI and local law enforcement are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown female who robbed the Chase Bank branch located at 1101 Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach, California, on Friday, December 18, 2015.
On Friday, December 18, 2015, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Chase Bank branch located at 1101 Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach, California was robbed by an unknown female, hereinafter referred to as the robber. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and waited in line until called by a teller. Once at the teller’s station, the robber presented a demand note for cash. The demand threatened that the robber was armed with a gun and threatened to use the gun against the teller and others. The robber was provided a sum of money and then fled the bank on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
- Sex: Female
- Race: Hispanic
- Age: Approximately 35-45 years old
- Weight: Approximately 165 pounds
- Height: 5’2”-5’3” tall
- Build: Heavy
- Clothing: Black hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses and blue jeans
