UP: Roseville, Calif., Awarded Membership in Union Pacific’s Train Town USA Registry

OMAHA, NEB., JULY 01, 2014
Roseville, California, has been awarded membership in Union Pacific's Train Town USA Registry as part of Union Pacific's ongoing efforts to highlight cities with a historical connection to the railroad. An official Train Town USA resolution signed by Union Pacific Chairman Jack Koraleski was presented to members of the Roseville City Council in a special presentation today. Union Pacific also presented the city of Roseville with rotary snow plow SPMW 221. This historic railroad snow removal plow will be on permanent display on Atlantic Street just outside Union Pacific's J.R. Davis Yard in Roseville.
