Cerner News Release:

Cerner and OTTR Chronic Care Solutions Will Integrate Technology for Organ Transplant Care Teams

March 27, 2014
KANSAS CITY, Mo. and OMAHA, Neb. — March 27, 2014 — Cerner Corp. (Nasdaq: CERN) and OTTR (Organ Transplant Tracking Record) Chronic Care Solutions will integrate their products and services to enhance the workflows and processes required to support solid organ, blood and marrow transplant care delivery teams.
The collaboration will enable Cerner and OTTR Chronic Care Solutions to equip transplant clinicians with more effective and efficient technology tools to support their important, life-saving work.
OTTR is a breakthrough patient tracking application and patient-centric record system developed specifically for solid organ transplant centers. Cerner will be the only electronic health record supplier to offer an integrated design with OTTR, the leading global transplant record system.
“This collaboration will result in integration that will meet the transplant management needs of both our current and future clients,” said Eva Karp, senior vice president with Cerner. “This is an area of high demand and our work with OTTR will add significant value to clinicians. There are many regulatory aspects with transplant registries and workflows, and we now have standard offering to fill that need for Cerner clients.”
“Many transplant programs have struggled to achieve integration that optimizes patient point-of-care, longitudinal patient tracking, and effective data capture and management,” said Mike Donnell, executive vice president with OTTR. “The Cerner-OTTR collaboration will allow us to meet this challenge and enhance the ability of clinicians to access real-time data critical to patient management and treatment decisions.”
