Cerner to Highlight Interoperability, Workflow Solutions & Client Achievements in Booth 913 at HIMSS15

April 01, 2015
Cerner Corp. will highlight its commitment to advance interoperability, feature real-life applications of its workflow solutions and showcase insights and best practices from Cerner clients in Booth 913 at HIMSS15, April 12-16, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
“HIMSS is always a great opportunity for Cerner to celebrate our clients’ successes and preview our latest advances in health care innovation across the continuum of care, including our work with all parties and embracing all ideas to advance true, industry-wide interoperability,” said Zane Burke, president, Cerner.
Within the Cerner booth, attendees will follow a patient’s journey through several workflow zones to learn first-hand how interoperability and the free flow of data among clinical settings plays an essential part in improving patient outcomes. Demonstrations will showcase the value and benefits for members of the health care team in five key roles – Care Manager, C-Suite, leadership, providers and specialities that span ambulatory, acute, revenue cycle, inpatient, quality and population health:
Interoperability
Attendees will see how information flows freely – regardless of solution, provider or location – throughout the Cerner network by way of Cerner solutions that enable the secure management, exchange and aggregation of data across organizational, IT supplier and geographic barriers.
Population Health
Cerner will highlight its approach to managing the health of populations one person at a time through solutions designed to:
  • KNOW what is happening within a population and predict what happens next
  • ENGAGE patients and their providers in health and care delivery
  • MANAGE patient health and improve care outcomes
Home
In this zone, attendees will learn how patients engage care teams to manage their health before they step foot in a physician’s office and to prevent readmissions.
Ambulatory
Attendees will see how the Cerner Millennium® EHR is integrated with Cerner Practice Management to deliver one seamless workflow that pulls from a single patient record. This integration enables providers to navigate all of the solution’s capabilities, schedule appointments and collect payments through a single screen to improve collections and staff efficiency.
Hospital
Highlighted in this space is Cerner’s approach to care management and delivery while driving clinical, financial and operational integration, including reporting and analytics.
Revenue Cycle
Attendees will see how Cerner’s workflow for case management, contract management, billing and collections, embedded EDI services, and revenue management services, is designed to break down barriers of traditional systems and help clients prepare for the future.
