Lockheed Martin an Awardee on Department of Homeland Security Information Technology Contract

ROCKVILLE, Md., May 22, 2014 – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has selected Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] as a prime contractor authorized to compete for future information technology (IT) task orders on the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) II contract. The contract award is in the Functional Category 1 Unrestricted track.
The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a five-year base period with one two-year option period. EAGLE II is designed to offer a broad range of services, solutions and contract types to fulfill the majority of component and departmental IT service needs. Lockheed Martin has been a contractor on the original EAGLE I contracting vehicle since 2006.
“Our team is eager to continue service to DHS and will leverage Lockheed Martin’s previous EAGLE experience to provide responsive, tailored IT solutions in support of the customer’s mission,” said Vicki Schmanske, vice president of IT & Security Solutions at Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions business.
