Customers Adopt HP Converged Cloud Portfolio for Accelerated Business Transformation

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 28, 2013 — HP today announced that its Converged Cloud portfolio has achieved significant customer adoption since it was launched a year ago, enabling enterprises around the world to improve agility, speed innovation and lower costs.
HP announced its cloud strategy in March 2011, and last April, the company consolidated its cloud offerings into the HP Converged Cloud portfolio, offering the industry’s first hybrid delivery model based on a common architecture spanning traditional IT, private, managed and public cloud. Since that time, HP has continued to invest in developing technologies for organizations to confidently build, operate and consume IT across all cloud delivery models.
Leading with one of the industry’s most comprehensive cloud solution offerings, HP has secured approximately 1,000 HP CloudSystem and 200 managed cloud customers in more than 60 countries, as well as signed on thousands of users for the company’s public cloud solution, HP Cloud Services.
