FBI Media Alert: Man with Handgun Robs Albuquerque Bank

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating an armed bank robbery that occurred at U.S. Bank, 8251 Golf Course Road NW, Albuquerque, at approximately 3:52 p.m. Tuesday (11/24/2015).
The suspect is described as a heavy-set white or Hispanic male, approximately 6’ tall.
He wore a gray long-sleeve shirt, dark hat, gray pants, light-colored gloves, and had some kind of covering over his face.
Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
He may have left the scene in a white Chevrolet SUV.
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300 or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, 505-843-STOP.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
