U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn And 20 Honeywell Volunteers Paint And Repair Home Of Local U.S. Army Veteran

Honeywell and Rebuilding Together complete their 20th renovation project in Colorado Springs  COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO., August 24, 2013 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) and Rebuilding Together Colorado Springs completed a renovation project at the home of a local veteran in Colorado Springs. Honeywell donated $3,000 in materials and more than 20 Honeywell volunteers spent the day painting and landscaping the home. The renovation project was attended by Doug Lamborn, U.S. Representative for Colorado's 5th congressional district. “With Honeywell’s support, Mr. Emmanuel Jeannot, who served nine years in the U.S. Army, now has a better, safer and more comfortable home,” said U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn. “We appreciate Honeywell’s dedicated efforts in providing housing and shelter to those who need it the most, and we recognize the impact these projects have on our local community.” Honeywell, with the help of Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit, focuses on improving the lives and homes of low-income homeowners through modifications and repairs at no cost to the recipients. “Honeywell and Rebuilding Together Colorado Springs have supported many renovation projects in the city - from community centers, schools, nonprofit facilities, and homes,” said Eric Doremus, site leader at the Honeywell Technology Solutions facility in Colorado Springs. “During today’s project, we painted the exterior of the house, removed and reinstalled shutters and awnings, landscaped the grounds, and completed several other necessary repairs.
