ATK Names Ed Fortunato Senior Vice President of Government Relations

Arlington, Va. – ATK (NYSE: ATK) announced Ed Fortunato has joined the company as Senior Vice President for Government Relations, reporting to ATK’s President and CEO Mark DeYoung.
In this role, Ed will lead government relations activities at the federal and state level for ATK. He will interact with U.S. government customers in the legislative and executive branches, including Congress, the Department of Defense, NASA, and other federal agencies. He will also interface with key industry leaders, partners and associations in the defense, aerospace and sporting sectors.
Ed previously worked in the Honeywell Global Government Relations office and served as Vice President of Washington Operations for the Advanced Turbine Engine Company (ATEC), a $60 billion joint venture between Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney.
Ed is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in operational, acquisition and legislative assignments. He served as the Secretary of the Army’s representative to Congress for aerospace and defense weapon systems and for the development and management of legislative strategy, acquisition and program policy. In this capacity, Ed worked with, and was military advisor to, numerous Senators and Representatives in key leadership positions on the defense committees.
