U.S. Court of Appeals Denies Appeal in Baraclude Patent Case

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE:BMY) today announced that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has denied the company’s appeal of a February 2013 ruling by the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware that found the patent covering Baraclude (entecavir), U.S. patent 5,206,244 invalid.
The company is reviewing the decision and considering all its legal options.
