Accenture Statement on Texas Medicaid

AUSTIN, Texas; May 9, 2014 – Accenture has been asked by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to take over as the lead vendor on Texas Medicaid.  Accenture and HHSC are finalizing an agreement for a transition period. Accenture has served the state of Texas for more than 30 years and has successfully delivered technology systems for the state’s Medicaid IT systems for the past decade and looks forward to continuing to help HHSC  build a more efficient and effective Medicaid program that benefits millions of Texans.
