Rockwell Collins at ITEC 2014: Providing world-class simulation and training solutions
COLOGNE, Germany (May 20, 2014) – Rockwell Collins will demonstrate its high quality, reliable training and simulation products, services and solutions at ITEC 2014.
Rockwell Collins representatives conducting the demonstrations will be available to discuss the many products that can be used to build completely immersive environments for the training community. The Rockwell Collins exhibit (Stand D160) will feature demonstrations of the latest simulation and training technology, including:
SimEye™ SX50T helmet-mounted display: The SX50T is a high-performance helmet-mounted display that simulates head-up display functions for aircraft trainers on fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.
Range-training system: The next-generation military test range training system will support weapon system testing for a variety of platforms, and could support testing of ships, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles and ground vehicles.
Virtual avionics trainer: Offering the option of a desktop or virtual cockpit solution, these virtual avionics trainers directly integrate Rockwell Collins avionics software. The trainers allow flight crews to experience the capabilities, functions and procedures found in the aircraft without the high costs of using the aircraft.
Radar and sensor operator trainer: This demonstration will feature four integrated Rockwell Collins simulation and training products and how they can be configured to support UAS sensor operator training.
Training delivery: Rockwell Collins offers computer-based and instructor-led training products, as well as course development and training needs analysis consultancy.
Rockwell Collins experts will present topics related to solving complex simulation and training challenges, including the following sessions:
